Today I am thankful for deep conversations.
I've been slowing down a bit at work lately. I used to be very task-oriented, and I still am in a big way, but lately, I've been trying to add a little bit of 'people person' to the mix. That's led to some midday conversations with my co-workers about really big things. Things like, what does it mean to raise children in this social media/technology/entertainment era, and what should we be praying for the local church, and other deep topics. It's been good to bounce ideas off of each other and learn from each other.
And you know what? I'm still getting all of those tasks done. :-)
